This unique part of Istria has a number of attractions - beautiful landscapes, remains of the cultural heritage from all ages (tower Citadel), exquisite specialities of Istrian cuisine: "manestra", sausages with cabbage, venison with gnocchi, "fuzi" (kind of pasta), "supa" (crisp bread in red wine, terrano, with olive-oil and pepper) and the famous wines, terrano and malmsey. Istria is the biggest peninsula in the Adriatic Sea.
