Vrboska is situated on the bottom of a long, sheltered cove in the middle part of the north coast of island Croatia-Island-Hvar_1-14.htm" target="_self">Hvar. It is the smallest settlement on the island with numerous little bridges so it is sometimes called "Little Venice".The very attractive diving localities make Vrboska is an ideal destination for diving excursions. The island of Hvar is the queen of the Croatian Dalmatian islands and it has been famous since antiquity because of its important strategic and nautical position, the richness of the various historical periods, the cultural and natural monuments and the literature.
