Saturday: Boarding from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the port in Rijeka. Greeting and getting to know the crew and the other passengers. Shortly after boarding we shall push off towards the island of Rab. The historical nucleus of the city bearing the same name is known for its bell towers and stretches over a narrow and rocky peninsula surrounded by the sea. The city is intersected by three cross streets: the lower street with its cafes and taverns, the middle street with its boutiques, souvenir shops and icecream parlors and the upper street that leads to the churches with the four bell towers.
Sunday: Today will be the longest stage of our trip - eleven hours of sailing from the island of Rab to Sibenik. We shall pass many islands along the way - Pag, Silba, Olib, Ist, Molat, Zverinac, Dugi Otok, Ugljan, Pasman, Prvic and off in the distance the Kornati National Park - until we finally arrive in the Sibenik archipelago. After a short swimming break, we shall head towards Sibenik or the island of Zlarin where we shall spend the night.
Monday: Today we shall sail down the Krk River towards Skradin, not far from the Krk waterfalls. There are boats here that can take you to the national park. You can also visit "Skradinski buk", the most famous part of the waterfalls, where the Krk River at the 800m stretch, breaks into 17 waterfalls and cascades up to one hundred meters wide falling from a height of 45.7 m. You must not forget your bathing suit because swimming in the crystal clear river right under the waterfalls is a unique experience. (Admission to the national park is 8 euro and includes a boat ride). We shall then return to the Adriatic and drop anchor in a nearby cove and then sail towards the island of Hvar, well known for its moderate climate and lavender fields. The port bearing the same name as the island and the islands main city lies at the foot of a fortress that has a spectacular view of the Pakleni otoci islands. We shall spend the night in the port in Hvar or at a nearby cove.
Tuesday: After breakfast and before going swimming at a cove on the small island of Scedro we shall sail onward towards the island of Korcula, the main city of the island bearing the same name, where you will have the opportunity to do some sightseeing. Korcula has a magnificent historical nucleus, one of the most beautiful in Dalmatia and is often called "Little Dubrovnik" because of its fortresses. During ancient times it was often called "Black island" due to the pine forests that spread across the island. We shall spend the night in the birth place of the famous seafarer Marco Polo.
Wednesday: In order to give you more time for Dubrovnik, the highlight of our trip, we shall change the meal schedule. Aside from breakfast, you will also receive a snack as we sail from the island of Mljet towards Dubrovnik since lunch will be served between 2:00 and 3:00 pm (dinner will not be served). After a swimming break on the Elafitis islands, we shall arrive in the port in Dubrovnik at approximately 4 pm (located half an hour walking distance or minutes away by bus from the old nucleus of the city) and you will have the rest of the day at your disposal to familiarize yourself with this unique city. Talk a walk along the Stradun and the city walls and enjoy many cultural sights.
Thursday: After having spent the morning in Dubrovnik, we shall set a course towards Mljet National Park. You will have an opportunity to visit the national park (the price of admission, including a boat ride to the former monastery, is approximately 13 euro and is paid on the spot). We recommend swimming in the saltwater lake where the temperature is always 2°C warmer than the temperature of the sea. Overnight stay in Pomena cove.
Friday: We shall sail along the mountainous peninsula of Peljesac (the highest peak being Sveti Ilija - 961m) with its endless hills of vineyards and the islands of Hvar and Brac all the way to the Makarska Riviera with its beautiful pebble beaches. We shall spend the night in Makarska, Baska Voda or Brela.
Saturday: During our trip north we shall take a swimming break before we arrive in Trogir, a city under the protection of UNESCO that is also called the "City of Museums". It is quite an experience to walk through the intricate streets in the afternoon or evening, admire the city walls, defense towers, churches, frescoes and arches or to take a peak in old backyards.
Sunday: We shall leave the city of Trogir and head towards the archipelago of Central Dalmatia in order to drop anchor in one of the many coves. We shall arrive in a lively tourist place called Vodice. You can enjoy the evening with a glass of wine at one of the pleasant taverns.
Monday: "On the last day of Creation God desired to crown his work and thus created the Kornati islands out of tears, stars and breath", wrote the Irish writer George Bernard Shaw. The beautiful nature landscape, big and small islands (the old folk saying goes: One island for every day of the year) and the magnificent sea all make the Kornati islands a unique paradise. This is the largest island cluster in the Adriatic, numbering 147 islands, islets and rocks with a total land area of 69 km², stretching 230 km². It stretches 35 km in length and 13 km in width between the island of Dugi otok to the northwest and Zirja and Pasman to the southeast with Vrgad and Murter to the north and northeast. We shall sail the entire length of the Kornati islands and stop in one of the coves in the northern region to go swimming. We shall spend the night in Sali on the island of Dugi otok.
Tuesday: Today we shall sail along the island of Dugi otok (eng. "Long Island"). After a swimming break we shall head towards our overnight destination, Dragove, on the northern part of the island or head towards one of the neighboring islands of Zverinac, Molat or Ist.
Wednesday: Today we shall head towards the island of Losinj which is not only famous for its 300 days of sunshine per year but also for the pine forests that cover the island. With a little luck we may be able to see some playful dolphins. The "Adria Dolphin Project" has registered as many as 160 dolphins. After taking a swimming break we shall arrive in Mali Losinj where we shall spend the night in the port.
Thursday: Today we shall sail towards the neighboring island of Cres which is connected to the island of Losinj by a bascule bridge. The recognizable features of Cres are its endless olive plantations and numerous flocks of sheep and it is with good reason that lamb is one of the islands specialties. After a break for swimming, which goes without saying, we shall head towards the picturesque city of Cres where we shall also spend the night.
Friday: Today we shall bid farewell to the Croatian islands and from Cres sail along the eastern shoreline towards Rijeka - however not without taking another opportunity to go swimming. We shall spend the night in Rijeka.
Saturday: We shall disembark after breakfast at approximately 9 am.
